Chicken "Crack" Dip - I finally decided to check out this whole "crack" dip craze and boy howdy....I am jumpin' on the bandwagon!!
For this month's Secret Recipe Club I was assigned the blog Rainstorms and Love Notes, written by the adorable Ashley. She writes about food, life (you have got to check out her post about the time a dress broke her nose), DIY fun, and binge watching her favorite TV shows (I can totally relate since I watched 6 seasons of True Blood in a week when I had the flu). She is an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and lives in NC with her "semi" newlywed hubby and 3 of the cutest cats ever! Don't belive me? Check out her Instagram for pics that will make you say "Aaawwwwww".
When I took a look at her recipes to see what I wanted to make I really had a hard time trying to choose one. She has some fabulous goodies and picking just one was so hard. I thought about making her Fluffernutter Sandwich Cookies because ummm who doesn't like fluffernutter? All my fluffernutter lovers say "Hey"!! Then there was her Salted Caramel Brownie Cookies. I mean hellooooo salted caramel AND brownies? Holy sweet tooth Batman!! But in the end her Chicken Crack Dip won out. A) because it sounded awesome, and B) because I have had the flu and heading to the grocery store was not an option and I had pretty much everything I needed to make it here already!
It was race day, we are HUGE Nascar geeks here, and I love to make nibbles for us to have during the race. This was the perfect dip to enjoy while we screamed, errrr rooted on our favorite drivers. I made a couple little changes, mostly due to scaling it down for two people and using what I had on hand here. But her recipe sounds perfect, and my changes are definitely not necessary.
We loved, and I mean lovvvvvvvved this dip, and it didn't take us long to demolish it and want more. So if you are looking for a perfect appetizer for your next party, football game, or just to nibble on, you have GOT to give this a whirl!!

This dip sounds great and it's perfect that it's a 2 person serving and not a huge pot of dip. I will have to make this the next time we have folks over. Great SRC post!

ow hot is it? I'm not a huge hot fan but a little spicy is fine. Could I double the recipe but keep the hot sauce at 1/4 cup?
Bobbi | Bobbi's Kozy Kitchen
I would say to start at 1/4 cup. If you want to add more you can. That way you are safe 🙂
