Chocolate Chip Banana Bread - Moist banana bread studded with mini chocolate chips, this bread is seriously addictive!

Sorry my post is a bit late today gang. It is Thursday, and if you have been following along, that means it is the day I get the beastie AKA my grand daughter. I try, try, try, to get things done through the week so I don't have to worry about anything on our Thursday's. I try to get work done, I try to get cleaning done, all of that good stuff.
Well, this morning I decided that I should sweep. We have hardwood floors and, with the heat we have been having, we have been leaving all of the windows open day and night. I have noticed that my allergies have been bothering more than usual. Yesterday I was hit with a massive sneezing fit just as I poured my self a full cup of hot coffee. Ya, it wasn't pretty.
    Kevin laughed.
    A LOT!
    Not cool man, not cool!

Anywhoo, I decided I needed to move all of the furniture and give the house a good thorough sweep. Ummm sooooo that sparked this little thing that I have within me, that hasn't stirred in quite some time.
Ladies and gents, I have a problem. I am a habitual furniture mover. The furniture in my house rarely stays in the same place for more than 6 months.I think my feng shui receptor is broken or something, but it just never feels "right". It might seem like it at first, but within a few weeks I am usually trying to figure out a new way to arrange everything.
That is until I moved into this house, and we bought a butt load of furniture.
Word of warning, don't go shopping for new furniture for your new house without taking measurements of the rooms first.
We ended up with so much furniture in our living room, and with one whole wall being taken up by a fireplace, there really isn't very many ways I can arrange the furniture.
    Which.Drives.Me.Nuts!
Sooooooo I started moving all of the furniture so I could sweep underneath it. The next thing you know I have everything in the middle of the room and I am turning in circles trying to figure out how in the heck I can change things up. I finally settled on a sort of "shift" around the room, and I think it will do......for now.
Problem, Kevin does NOT like change. So I decided I would tell him that I needed to move the furniture so the entire room was visible from all angles because when Kylee starts toddling around we need to be able to see her. Good thinking right? Who cares if she is only 1 month old? That is Nana logic.
    Nuff said.

Now, let's get down to business, and this gorgeous loaf of chocolate chip banana bread. It is moist, and full of banana goodness, with little dots of chocolate throughout....OhhEmmmGeeeee it is so good people!! I mean, just look at it! #drooling
When I made the first loaf I think we ate it in something like 0.2 seconds flat! It was a "now you see it, now you don't" kinda thing. What we both really love about it is, I use quite a bit of banana in it. I used 4 smallish bananas. Two of them were verrrrrrrrrrrrrrry overripe and 2 were your normal day to day overripe. So it makes the bread super moist and "banana-ee'.
Then I used mini chocolate chips instead of the normal ones like I always used before. What I like about using the mini chips is, there aren't big pockets of chocolate in the bread. Not that big pockets of chocolate are necessarily a bad thing, I just really wanted to focus in on the banana flavor with the chocolate being the supporting cast. I also don't use nuts, just a personal thing. Every banana nut bread I have ever had seemed more nut than banana. Plus Kevin doesn't like them, sooooooo you know how that goes, but feel free to toss a handful of chopped walnuts in there if ya want to.
Hhmmmm I think I am going to pop into the kitchen real quick and bake up a loaf (or two) of this bread before Kevin gets home. That way if he doesn't get the whole "Nana logic" thing I can just say, "Oh look honey, I baked you bread".
    I am a genius!!
