Spicy Asian Chicken Strips – These quick and easy to make zingy chicken strips will remind you of your favorite restaurant chicken wings, only they are 10 times better.
Has life been a big ol’ blur for you lately?
It has seemed like Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s just flew by in a flash of food, family, and sparkles!
Now that all of that craziness has passed, and we are able to sit down and breathe a bit, our focus is on football 🏉.
Yes, we are a football loving family and you can bet that if there is a game on TV we are watching it from the comfort of our sofa. We like to keep the cold outside, and our fingers and toes nice and pink, thank you! I will take homegating over tailgating any time.
Does that mean I am getting old? I can remember so many memories of tailgating when I was younger.
Oh wait, I know what it is, I grew up in Southern California. You didn’t have to worry about hypothermia there!!
Of course, what goes hand in hand with football?
Besides a nice cold beverage?
Good food! And I am here to tell you that these Spicy Asian Chicken Strips fit that to a “T”.
Made with a zingy Asian style sauce that was inspired by our local wing joint, and delicious Tyson® Naturals Lightly Breaded Chicken Strips, you just can’t find a better nibble to nosh on when that halftime hunger kicks in!
Have you tried Tyson Naturals Lightly Breaded Chicken Strips yet?
They are my new BFF when it comes to tasty, easy to make chicken I can feel good about feeding to everyone, especially my granddaughter Kylee.
Kylee is a chicken strip NUT, and can be ultra picky about what chicken Nana is putting in front of her.
Now, being the awesome Nana that I am ☺️I want Mighty Mite to be happy with her meal, but I also want to make sure that I am feeding her the best.
Tyson Naturals are raised with no antibiotics….EVER and no added steroids or hormones.
THAT makes me a very happy Nana.
They are also made with all white meat chicken, 65% less breading, and have 50% less fat and 40% fewer calories.
That is a win/win in my book any day!
But, while all of that is totally awesome, it has to taste good right?
Again, Tyson Naturals hit the nail right on the head! Tender and juicy, with just the right amount of breading and seasoning, they are perfect on their own. But, you know me, I can’t leave much alone when it comes to mealtime.
Don’t get me wrong, when we are homegating, and enjoying the big game, quick and easy is my middle name!
But I have to admit that these chicken strips work well in so many dishes.
But, out of everything we have tried, this Spicy Asian Sauce is our #1 fave way to add some zing to our new favorite chicken.
Back in the day, we used to compete to see who could make the hottest chicken wing. If you could make someone have to chug a beer after just eating a couple of your wings? Ya, you won! But now, it is more about flavor AND being family friendly. This sauce is just that.
You are more than welcome to customize this recipe however you want, but I will tell you that as is it gives just enough flavor and spice to keep the hardcore fans wanting more, but light enough on the spice to not have you looking for the nearest fire alarm.
So head down to your local Kroger, like I did, and grab a few bags of these Tyson Naturals Lightly Breaded Chicken Strips ( they have them in an Italian style too), the ingredients for this sauce, then set up your spread on the next game day and watch them disappear! Tyson Naturals Lightly Breaded Chicken Strips can be found in the freezer aisle at your local Kroger.
You didn’t know I was a magician too did you 😉
