Take a look at those beauties right there
If they don't make you think of a deeelicious Thanksgiving dinner I don't know what to say.
I do have to admit, I usually get into the Christmas state of mind as soon as Halloween is over. I literally count the days until I can dig into my boxes of decorations and get my winter wonderland groove on.
But, this year my daughter moved to Oregon so I don't get to see her very often. It has been hard to go from seeing her every day to seeing her once every few months so I am alllll about putting together something super-dee-duper for turkey day.
OMG did you just catch that Barney reference? You know, the purple dinosaur dude?
Ya, that was my daughter's favorite show when she was little so it seems pretty fitting that I used it in this situation.
I have to admit, being a food blogger, to trivialize Thanksgiving is a huge faux pas. I mean, it is one of the days that we all celebrate food right?
Shame on me!

So, let's pretend that I never said any of that.
Said what?
Exactly, I knew I loved you!
Now, about this recipe.
Holy Glazed Carrots Batman! It is soooooo good. Those tender little carrots all coated with a honey brown sugar glaze? Ya ummm, pass that whole skillet down to me please!
But, as much as I want to eat the whole batch myself, I do share with the family because I think they would kick me out if I didn't.
At least until they got hungry again.
So don't let this dish only get dusted off for the holidays, and definitely don't hog it all to yourself.
It gets cold outside this time of year!

I love carrots. They are such a flexible veggie, depending on the seasonings used and so festive and appropriate for the harvest holidays.

I adore glazed carrots of any kind. And I haven't seen a good recipe in a long time. Pinning and sharing.

This is the first time I've seen this done with carrots. Should the carrots be soft or somewhat crunchy? Cheer up. Your daughter will hopefully be home for Thanksgiving!
