🥘Keto Slow Cooker Pumpkin Butter Ingredients

These are the ingredients necessary to make Keto Slow Cooker Pumpkin Butter.

Keto slow cooker pumpkin butter on a small mason jar on a wooden cutting bowrd with a wooden scooper.
    • Pumpkin Puree - I always use my homemade pumpkin puree
    • Besti Monk Fruit & Allulose Sweetener - I prefer this sweetener when making this pumpkin butter as it will not crystalize in the refrigerator.
    • Wholesome Yum Zero Sugar Maple Syrup - This sugar-free maple syrup gives this recipe the richness it needs.

A detailed list with measurements and instructions can be found on the printable recipe card at the bottom of the page.

Helpful Hint: 💡: using store-bought pumpkin puree, ensure it is pure pumpkin puree and not pumpkin pie filling.

    🍽Equipment

This is the equipment you will need to make Keto Slow Cooker Pumpkin Butter.

    • measuring cups and spoons
    • slow cooker

    Refrigerator:

    1. Allow the Keto Slow Cooker Pumpkin Butter to cool to room temperature.
    2. Once cooled, transfer the pumpkin butter to a clean, airtight container or jar with a tight-sealing lid.
    3. Store the container in the refrigerator. It will remain fresh for about 1-2 weeks when properly refrigerated.

    Freezer:

    1. Allow the Keto Slow Cooker Pumpkin Butter to cool to room temperature.
    2. Once cooled, transfer the pumpkin butter to airtight, freezer-safe containers or resealable freezer bags. Leave some space at the top to allow for expansion as it freezes.
    3. Label the containers or bags with the date to keep track of freshness.
    4. Place the containers or bags in the freezer. Your pumpkin butter can remain in the freezer for up to 9-12 months without compromising quality.
    5. When you're ready to use it, simply thaw the desired amount in the refrigerator overnight, or you can speed up the process by using the defrost function in the microwave.

By following these storage guidelines, you can enjoy your Keto Slow Cooker Pumpkin Butter in the most convenient and delicious way.

    💭Top tip

For long-term storage, consider freezing your pumpkin butter in airtight containers. Freezing maintains freshness and flavor, allowing you to enjoy this delightful spread even beyond the fall season. Just thaw when you're ready to savor a taste of autumn!

I don’t own a slow cooker. Could I make this in a cast iron Dutch oven on the stove?
