Homemade Pumpkin Spice Blend (Pumpkin Pie Spice) | Homemade Mexican Spice Blend (Taco Seasoning)
One of the most common email or comment I get when it comes to living the low carb or keto lifestyle is, "I run out of recipe ideas" or "I don't know what to eat so I eat the same thing over and over again".
It doesn't have to be that way!
I see so many people over complicating trying to eat low carb.
If you think about it, when we were eating a "normal" diet what did we do? For the most part we had a handful of tried and true recipes that we knew our family would eat and put those recipes on a rotation.
Meatloaf, tacos, soups and stews, maybe some burgers, etc.
But, one of the easiest ways to change up those tried and true family favorites is by adding some spice and a homemade seasoning blend is the perfect way to do that.
If you want some Cajun flair, or a taste of Mexico. Maybe a curry sounds good, or just good ol' Italian.
Pick a flavor and then add it to a classic recipe like meatloaf, or roasted chicken.
Stir it into a sauce like this Alfredo sauce, or this cheese sauce.
You can even toss your veggies with any spice blend you like before you roast or saute them for a kick of flavor.
So you see, it isn't hard to do. The options are as endless as the seasonings in your pantry!
