🔪Keto BBQ Ribs (Oven-Baked) Instructions
This is a basic breakdown of the steps involved in making Keto BBQ Ribs (Oven-Baked). You will find the full directions in the recipe card at the bottom of the post.
Remove the membrane if it is present and you prefer your ribs without it.
Pat the ribs dry with a paper towel.
Rub the ribs generously with the BBQ rub on both sides and wrap them in plastic wrap.
Cover each rack with foil and place it on a baking sheet on the middle rack of the oven.
Helpful Hint: 💡: To ensure even cooking and seasoning, after applying the BBQ rub, let your ribs sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes before baking. This step brings the meat closer to room temperature, promoting a more even cook.
🍽Equipment
This is the equipment you will need to make Keto BBQ Ribs (Oven-Baked).
Storage
To store leftover keto BBQ ribs, allow them to cool completely before wrapping them tightly in aluminum foil or plastic wrap. You can then place them in a resealable plastic bag or an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 3-4 days. For longer storage, freeze the wrapped ribs for up to 3 months. When ready to enjoy, thaw overnight in the refrigerator if frozen, and reheat in the oven or microwave, adding a splash of water or additional BBQ sauce to keep them moist.
💭Top tip
For extra tender ribs, consider applying a light layer of mustard to the ribs before rubbing in the BBQ seasoning. The mustard not only adds a layer of flavor but also helps the dry rub adhere better to the ribs, and it tenderizes them by breaking down some of the proteins.
