🥘Keto Pumpkin Bread Ingredients
These are the ingredients necessary to make Keto Pumpkin Bread.
- Almond Flour - I always use Wholesome Yum Superfine Almond Flour to give my baked goods as tender of a crumb as possible.
- Pumpkin Puree - Store-bought pumpkin puree usually includes squash other than pumpkin, like butternut, which can give it a higher carb count so I always use my homemade pumpkin puree to keep the carbs as low as possible.
- Pumpkin Pie Spice - This homemade pumpkin pie spice blend allows you to dial in the flavors to your own tastes and also saves you money.
A detailed list with measurements and instructions can be found on the printable recipe card at the bottom of the page.
🔪Keto Pumpkin Bread Instructions
This is a basic breakdown of the steps involved in making Keto Pumpkin Bread. You will find the full directions in the recipe card at the bottom of the post.
In a large mixing bowl combine the almond flour, sweetener, baking powder, salt, and pumpkin pie spice.
Stir in the pumpkin puree.
Add the eggs, 1 at a time, and stir to combine.
Pour the mixture into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
Helpful Hint: 💡: Using homemade pumpkin puree is a fantastic idea to save on carbs! Many store-bought options mix pumpkin with other squashes, which can increase the carb count. Making your own puree ensures you're getting pure pumpkin goodness without any hidden surprises.

Storage
Room Temperature: Store the unfrosted Keto Pumpkin Bread at room temperature for 2-3 days, but once frosted, it's best to refrigerate it to maintain its freshness.
Refrigeration: Once the bread is frosted, store it in the refrigerator for up to 5-7 days.
Freezing: For longer-term storage, freezing is a great choice. Wrap your pumpkin bread tightly in plastic wrap and then place it in an airtight container or a freezer bag. It can be frozen for up to 2-3 months. When you're ready to enjoy it, simply thaw it in the refrigerator or at room temperature. You can also warm individual slices in the microwave for a few seconds or briefly heat the whole loaf in the oven to restore that freshly baked taste. Freezing is a fantastic way to enjoy your Keto Pumpkin Bread well beyond pumpkin season!
💭Top tip
When frosting your Keto Pumpkin Bread, make sure the bread has fully cooled before applying the cream cheese frosting. This not only ensures a perfect, smooth texture but also prevents the frosting from melting or running off the bread. For an extra touch, you can also sprinkle a pinch of homemade pumpkin pie spice on top for a delightful visual and flavor boost!

Certainly! If you prefer muffins or smaller portions, you can adjust the baking time accordingly. For muffins, try around 20-25 minutes of baking time, but keep an eye on them to ensure they're done to your liking.
