Keto Copycat Arby's Beef and Cheddar: A Homemade Delight🍔🧀

Hey there, keto foodies! Today, I'm excited to share a recipe that's close to my heart and my taste buds: Keto Copycat Arby's Beef and Cheddar.

Before I embarked on my low-carb journey, Arby's was my go-to fast food joint, and their Beef and Cheddar sandwiches were my ultimate guilty pleasure. But alas, the keto lifestyle doesn't always align with fast food cravings.

That's where my culinary experimentation came into play. I started recreating these iconic sandwiches at home, initially using my homemade keto buns. They were good, but something was missing. It wasn't until I stumbled upon these keto hamburger buns that I felt like I hit the jackpot.

Let me tell you, folks, these sandwiches are a game-changer! Picture succulent roast beef layered with gooey cheddar cheese, all nestled between two soft and pillowy keto buns. And let's not forget about the finishing touches—don't forget to slather on that red ranch, aka Arby's sauce, and a dollop of horsey sauce (that delicious horseradish mayo they use).

It's a flavor explosion that transports me back to my fast food indulgence days, without any of the guilt or carb overload.

What's even better? These Keto Copycat Arby's Beef and Cheddar sandwiches are incredibly easy to make at home. No more driving to the nearest Arby's, dealing with long lines, or shelling out extra cash. With just a few simple ingredients and minimal prep time, you can whip up these homemade delights in no time.

So whether you're following a keto lifestyle or simply looking for a delicious sandwich alternative, give these Keto Copycat Arby's Beef and Cheddar sandwiches a try. Trust me, once you take that first bite, you'll never look back!

Helpful Hint: 💡: For quicker meal prep, consider making the red ranch (Arby's) sauce and horsey sauce ahead of time and storing them in the refrigerator. This way, when you're ready to assemble your sandwiches, all you need to do is heat them up, saving you valuable time in the kitchen.

This is the equipment you will need to make Keto Copycat Arby's Beef and Cheddar.

    • baking sheet
    • pastry brush
    • large skillet
    • measuring cups and spoons
    • small saucepot
    • silicone spoon
    • small non-stick skillet
    • Whisk
    • small mixing bowl

    Storage

    • Any leftover assembled sandwiches can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
    • For optimal freshness, store the components separately: store the roast beef and cheese sauce in separate airtight containers in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days.
    • The red ranch (Arby's sauce) and horsey sauce can also be stored in separate airtight containers in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
    • When ready to enjoy, reheat the roast beef and cheese sauce separately in the microwave or on the stovetop until warmed through, then assemble the sandwiches with fresh keto burger buns and sauces.

By storing the components separately, you can easily assemble fresh sandwiches whenever you're ready to enjoy them, ensuring they maintain their delicious flavors and textures. Let me know if you need further assistance!

    💭Top tip

To add an extra layer of flavor to your Beef and Cheddar sandwiches, consider lightly toasting the keto burger buns in a skillet with a touch of butter or olive oil before assembling. This quick step will not only enhance the texture of the buns but also infuse them with a delicious, buttery taste, elevating the overall taste experience of your homemade sandwiches!

FAQ about Keto Copycat Arby's Beef and Cheddar

Can I use a different type of cheese for the cheese sauce?

Yes, you can customize the cheese sauce to your liking. While Cheddar cheese is traditionally used in Arby's Beef and Cheddar sandwiches, feel free to experiment with other types of cheese such as Swiss, provolone, or pepper jack for different flavor variations.

Can I make the sauces ahead of time and store them for later use?

Absolutely! Both the red ranch (Arby's sauce) and the horsey sauce can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for convenience. Simply store them in separate airtight containers and refrigerate for up to 1 week. When ready to use, give them a quick stir or shake before serving.

Can I make this recipe dairy-free?

Yes, you can easily make dairy-free or lactose-free substitutions for the cheese sauce and horsey sauce. Use dairy-free cheese alternatives and dairy-free milk or cream for the cheese sauce, and dairy-free mayo for the horsey sauce. Adjust the ingredients according to your dietary preferences and enjoy!
